ADHD Coaches

The ICF (International Coach Federation) defines coaching as:

“partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

An ADHD coach is basically a “life coach,” who can help a person with ADHD to achieve a goal; it’s not a therapist; as you seek for one, it’s your job to check his/her credentials on knowledge and experience.

Anyone can be a “coach”, thus it’s up to us to trust them or not.

The ICF, through accredited programs provided by third parties, dispenses a credential to those who follow a path to become a certified coach and pay an annual fee to the ICF.
