Environment

Everything that surround us (places, circumstances, etc.) can affect the ADHD symptoms. Some neurodivergents can adapt to their current environment, and others may need to adjust it to their needs.

Executive Functions

Cognitive abilities; such us planning, organising, regulating emotions, etc. In ADHD brains, these functions are a challenge.

Authors have different takes on executive functions.

Dr. Russel Barkley (2010), for instance, lists the following: 1) Inhibit your behavior; 2) Use visual imagery; 3) Talk to your self; 4) Plan and problem solve; 5) Control your emotions.
